Energy Efficient, Smart & Valuable Construction Solutions
What We Do
1.
DESIGN & PLANNING: every project needs a properly structured plan that guides the renovation; a road map detail. With AE&C you receive the benefits of having your project professionally planned, designed, and installed. And the cost to properly plan is far less than the costs incurred by not planning at all. In most of the cases, our planning fees are set against the cost of your project. So, get our “free estimate”, then sit down with us to see the difference.
2.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: this is why we offer secure, online access to your very own webpage with all the details and selections for your project. You will be able to track photos of the construction progress, view, approve, and change orders and selections, as well as access important documents. You can also access our online messaging system and easily communicate with our team 24/7 no matter if you are at home, work, or even on vacation.

KITCHEN RENOVATIONS: Today, Florida homes and condos are drastically different from the past. Some Florida homes now require extensive improvements to accommodate changing lifestyles. They involve numerous upgrades that are needed for expanded cooking areas within the home, as well as substantial electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work to support improved appliances and lighting requirements. The most common upgrade is the open concept; walls are now being removed and the kitchen is becoming part of the living area. Kitchen countertops are also now mostly solid surface materials that include materials such as engineered quartz, granite, wood, and stainless steel. They are easier to clean and maintain and allow for the installation of under-mount sinks, which are very much desired. The kitchen island (with seating and large work surface areas) acts as a social connection between kitchen and living activities. Lastly, appliances and finishes are now far more practical and aesthetically appealing, as they are in full view of the living area. Improved lighting and electrical have also played an important part - pot lights, additional outlets, and under-counter LED lighting are typical additions to even the most basic kitchen.
4.
BATHROOM RENOVATIONS: bathrooms are a place to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate. They need to be open and inviting with pleasant textures, colours and should be intriguing with glass enclosures, interesting tile work, and upgraded fixtures and fittings. At the top of the list of "must-haves" for most Florida bathrooms is the thermostatic shower system. It features large shower rain heads, adjustable shower arms, and temperature control valves. These units not only create visual interest but enhance the shower experience. Glass enclosures for showers are also a definite upgrade to curtains and a worthwhile investment. They visually expand the size of your Florida bathroom and allow for a more illuminated and open shower. Today, waterproof membranes for tiled showers virtually eliminate past problems associated with leaking showers; stand-alone furniture grade vanities increase storage and accentuate style, while dual-flush toilets improve water efficiency and jacuzzi tubs with aeration and chroma therapy lighting add to the bathing experience and luxury feel of your bathroom.
5.
MASS HOME RENOVATION: If you have recently purchased an older home, or require major upgrades where you're living right now, you may need a whole house renovation, which is extensive and involves most major elements of your home. In these types of projects, the interior finishes are removed and you start from scratch, however, you may also decide to retain certain finishes, which still may be in good condition (i.e. the wall surfaces, flooring, trim work, and most of the mechanical systems of the home, including the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC). Typically most mass home renovations involve at least the kitchen and bathroom, along with other necessary improvements to the home, which may include the basement, laundry room, bedrooms, and other common areas. Upgrades and repairs may also be needed, such as insulation, flooring, plumbing and A/C, as well as electrical and wall finishes. In some instances, the exterior and structural elements of the home may also need to be looked at, including the home's framing, masonry, roofing, landscaping, and windows & doors.
